Who doesn’t love a simple Margherita pizza! I make mine with hand rolled dough and fresh Mareli pasta sauce that’s gluten and oil free.
Ingredients
3 – 4 artichoke hearts, halved
1 tsp. of capers
6 – 8 whole olives
½ cup Mareli Original or Spicy Pasta Sauce
1-½ pounds fresh mozzarella cheese, grated
Sprig of fresh basil
4 tablespoons olive oil
Large pizza dish

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450 F.
- Make your own pizza dough or use your favorite pre-made dough. Dust the dough with flour and roll out a thin circle.
- Spread the Mareli pasta sauce evenly over the rolled out pizza dough.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly.
- Place the cut artichoke hearts, olives, and capers on top of the cheese.
- Bake the pizza for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Dress with the basil leaves.
- Serve with your favorite salad.
